USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) is in Rio de Janeiro

Rio de Janeiro, RJ (Brazil) - USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), Harpers Ferry Class, is in Rio de Janeiro. Her CO is the CDR Daniel Blackburn.

She is currently deployed for the combined multinational exercise Southern Partnership Station (SPS) ’09. SPS ’09 is a combined naval and amphibious operation with maritime forces from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru and Uruguay.
